Reservation Questions

OK so we're making our booking this weekend once I nail DH (and his credit card )down. .. have a couple of questions for y'all, please.
* Payment - is it expected at time of reservation? Or deposit and then balance due X days prior? Or at check-in?
* Loop request - how does that work? Make a request and hope?

I just made a reservation for 08 and it was for a site I just made a deposit for 1 day and the remainder due at checkin, with 6 days notice of cancellation for refund of deposit. I do know you can pay it off early if you want to. Be sure and make your loop request and as you say "Hope" . Most times they do get your requests done.

I just changed our reservation to add the dining plan (decided to make it a real vacation!). I orginally booked on the website but made the change by phone and they had to make a new reservation. Since we are leaving within 30 days they required me to pay in full. Usually we reserve on the website and make 1 night deposit and pay the balance at check in. I was not sure when you were planning your trip.

Regarding the loop request question, we put the loop where it asks for comments and have always gotten it. I know others fax FW 1 week before their trip and politely request their preferred loop.
