Reservation Question!

How far in advance should I be making my resort reservation, we are looking to go mid September 2016. I was hoping that there would be a late season discount offer but there are none available yet. Should I wait in hopes there will be a discount offer or just book now?

Today is not too early. If a deal comes along, if you call early enough, you may be able to switch into it.

Depends. Are you going to go whether there's a discount or not? If so, then I would book now so you can book exactly what you want. If you are only going to go with a discount, I would wait. There is zero advantage to already having a reservation when discounts come out. You still have to rebook with the discount. And the more rooms that are booked now without a discount, the less rooms will be included in the discount.

I booked right at the 499 days out mark and am keeping my eye on potential discounts for late in the year (beginning of December)

Thanks! Yes we will still be going with or without a discount, I just remember we happened to get a 20% off late season discount but I made the reservation later in the Summer.

I would go ahead and book now since you're going with or without a discount. Booking now will get you exactly what you want, like dansdad posted. If a discount comes out later, you can have it applied if what you have booked is available under the discount .
