Reservation Question

Down here in FL we actually do not have our school schedules finalized for next year yet. They passed 2 different scheduled and are supposed to vote on which one we use at some point. Anyhow, my question is:

If I book a room only reservation with the summer discount for 7 days, but can only use 5 of them, can I cancel the 2 days and keep the other 5 with the discount (provided I do it before the promotion ends in June)?

Thanks! I got concerned when I saw some wording about it not being valid if changes were made.

If only these darn politicians would vote already....
