Reservation question

We are seriously considering buying in at SSR right now. Called tonight and they are sending us a package.

One immediate question we have . . . . .

We will be on the 11 night Southern Caribbean cruise in September of this year. When we arrive back in port on the 28th we want to spend 3 nights at WDW. We live in Arizona, so want to take advantage of already being in Florida.

The question would be, how hard would it be to reserve a 3 bedroom villa at BWV during this time? We wouldn't be able to make reservations until March if we understand correctly. Are our chances slim? If so, what about SSR or OKW? We prefer BWV for it proximity to Epcot and MGM.

We realize you can't provide a difinitive answer, but what would your best guess be.

There are only 7 Grand Villas at the BWV. Since the weekend you want to stay (9/28 -10/1) is the first weekend of the Food & Wine Festival, I don't think you have a very good chance of getting one at the 7 month mark. You never know until you call, though. Since the Friday and Saturday nights cost more than weeknights, there is a better chance of getting those.

OKW GVs typically book before the 7 month window opens, so probably not much chance there either - but again, you never know until you call.

SSR has more GVs and if you buy SSR, you may be able to book before the 7 month window even opens. (That would be March 1 for the night of 9/28). I think your best chance would be at SSR.

P.S. If you really want BWV, consider booking a 2 bedroom and either a 1 bedroom or a studio. If you call right at the 7 month mark, you should be able to get PV - Pool/Garden rooms. They won't overlook the Boardwalk, and you won't necessarily be all together (but you can request that the rooms be close to each other), but you will all still be at the great Boardwalk location. It's great to be near EPCOT for Food & Wine. Don't wait to book - BWV rooms go quickly during F & W.
