Reservation planning questions

To all my disney friend- I am confusing myself. We are staying in august under two reservations. We are staying a total of 10 days but our first day is under one reservation (DVC rental) and our second is other a second reservation (DVC rental). They were not able to get us 10 days from the same person for renting points. How will it work for making dining reservations? Can I make it for the entirety of my stay based off my day one reservation? Or will I need to do it again on day 2? Does this make sense?

Each counts separately for the 60+10 so you can't start on the second set until that time comes. They don't let you treat it as one, even if you call.
