Calling Dis experts!!

DH was thinking of cancelling a vacation trip out west and heading back to WDW sooner, rather than later!! *G So I've been doing the clicking looking around. My first impulse was no, we'll wait... (what am I nuts?!!) lol. My concerns is with the new MYW publicity that things are crazy, and there arent as many 'codes' or 'perks' as before. I was spoiled with the voucher system, loved getting 2 free nights... and the princess pkg was awesome...

However, IT IS DISNEY!!

So, I saw a post about booking thru expedia, and low and behold it is about $60 less per night at the AKL... Disney website shows it app $257 per night for a 7 night stay, while expedia shows $199 a night. I also considered an Epcot resort, but read about resort fees, (and lack of teacher discounts for the Dolphin, I thought, why not Disney???

What are the current experiences in getting the best deals? Any with booking thru a travel agency? I've read some successful bookings with AAA pkgs, and AP rates dont seem that different - but that was before dh was serious about going this summer!!

I just got a pretty good AAA discount on a moderate for November! I told my travel agent all my potential discounts and she said AAA was the best one for me for the time I want it (regular season) so she booked it for me! If you have AAA I would definitely check it out. Good luck!
