Reservation Modification info...

Just thought I would let those of you that do not know.....if you modify a reservation you can not view it online. This is the response I received to an email I sent regarding this. I do not like it but what can you do.

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World Resort.

If a reservation has been modified from the original it is not possible
to view it online. We know this is not the response you were hoping
for, but hope that you understand.

We hope that you have a Magical vacation at Walt Disney World in August.

Was your original reservation made online? What kind of modification did you make - dates, people, location?

I've made reservations by telephone and then called in and made modifications (added people, changed location), and it showed up online.

It was originally made on the phone and modified on the phone. Same amount of people. Same basic dates (had to drop a day to get the last discount).

First reservation was AAA at Pop
Second reservation was AAA at ASMU Family Suites
Third reservation was an email pin code for ASMU Suites

The last one was this afternoon and I even mentioned it to the girl who thought that was strange also.....I dont know what they are looking under to find me now because the reservation number still says that it was cancelled....even to them when they first look. I think they are finding it under something else - either my name or phone number. I asked her to please email me confirmation because this makes me nervous.....this should NOT say cancelled in my mind.

That's weird.

We have made literally a DOZEN modifications (and payments, too!) to our phone reservation for November and each time I've just had to go thru www.waltdisneyworld.com, then to "My Disney Vacation" (towards the top of that home page), and then log in, and then enter my reservation number and phone number. They show the latest/correct info every time.

Is that not working for you?

I made my original reservation online and I've called 3 times already to make changes to it (I think it's finally done!). I can still view it online and make payments.

ARGHH - I want to be able to view my reservation online!! I cant believe this.

I hate to say it but I just modified my reservation today and within minutes the changes were showing. It was originally made by calling disney and all my modifications were made over the phone as well. It sounds like they changed the reservation number on you. That would drive me nuts too.

I would call and see if something can be done by another CM. If not ask to speak to a supervisor or to guest relations. And if all else fails I would start emailing everyone that I could to get this problem resolved. I've never heard of anything like that before.
