Reservation missing from Disney site

One of our ADRs for our quickly-upcoming trip is missing from the Disney trip site. I have been trying to retrieve it for four days now, but I always get an error message. I called the reservation number and they confirmed that the reservation exists. They could not explain why I cannot retrieve it online. I asked them to send me an e-mail confirmation of the reservation, but they would not do so. (I booked the reservation by phone.)

They insist that the reservation number is all I need. That was my belief, but I have recently read on the boards of cases of people having valid reservation numbers but nonetheless the restaurant having no reservation on record, and only seating them when they presented a printed confirmation. It seems like the Disney reservations system is messed up. Should I be worried? Is there anything I can do? (I suppose that if there's a problem I could call the reservations people right then and there, at the restaurant, and have them confirm the reservation to the restaurant staff.)
 
I just noticed the same thing happened to me. My CM ressie went missing...
 
Dining reservations don't show up half the time on their site. It is a regular occurrence. You would think they would have a great website, but half the time it's a mess.
 
I've had reservations go missing before on the WDW site but never had a problem once I've gotten to the restaurant. I generally only make my ADRs online so I can take a screen shot of the confirmation screen just in case the email doesn't come through (which has happened a few times).

If it really bothers you and there's still availability at the restaurant, you could cancel the reservation you have and rebook it online so you get the confirm. I'm a worry wart so that's something I'd consider myself :rotfl:.
 

Thanks for the replies. It's probably no big deal. Re rebooking, I would have done that if it had been an option.
 
Our first trip was this past April. The exact same thing happened to me. NONE of my dining reservations would show up online. I called numerous times to confirm that my reservations still existed because I was so worried that we would get there and not have any reservations. Apparently this is a common problem with their website. :confused3 Everything was completely fine once we arrived, with no problems at any of the restaurants.
 
Check your profile and make sure all your info is filled in.. name/address ect. Once I fixed this it pulled all my stuff after receiving that error msg for weeks.
 
My email address has _ underscores in it. I noticed that Disney have sent my reservation confirmation to my email address WITHOUT the underscores.
So of course I never received that email and the reservations haven't shown up on my Disney account because I'm registered WITH the underscores.

I haven't got a reservation number for my latest ADR now and it is at the same time as another ADR which I made months ago, but I'm too scared to cancel the ADR from months ago in case this missing reservation didn't go through or something.
 
I've made a few reservation changes this week and I am not getting any confirmation emails, nor are they showing up. Anyone else experiencing this? When I try to pull them up by number I get a notice that the site is having trouble retrieving reservations.
 
Yes I've had similar problems since placing my ADR's. This will be our first trip and the only disappoint with planning so far has been the website. It's a complete joke!! I really expected more from Disney in this area. Makes it hard for someone like me who relies heavily on tech to plan and proceed :/
 
Yes...their website must be having trouble! And I want to cancel one that I just made....but can't do it online because it's not showing up. I guess I need to call and cancel....but that's such a PITA compared to just doing it online.

Exactly!! I've been making some changes to our ADR's and with our trip only 15 days away I've been lucky enough to get what we wanted. However the darn site is not cooperating so I had to resort to calling the 800 number while online and confirming all my cancellations and new ressies!! I don't usually write down confirm numbers because I take for granted having email access but I didn't even receive those. So I printed up my spreadsheet of ADR's with times and confirm numbers just in case. And it completly baffled me that the CM i spoke with couldn't resend an email confirmation!! Fingers crossed!!
