Reservation Mess Up!

I don't know why I didn't notice this before!

We have planned all along to arrive at ASMu on Saturday, Feb. 8. I just looked at my reservation (for the 20th time) and realized that it has us arriving on Sunday!

I paniked and called but they are full up for Saturday. She said the whole resport is booked!

She also told me to keep calling back and hopefully we can get in with a cancellation.

I can't believe I messed up like that!

It happens.

I booked an airfare last year for myself and a friend for an 8am flight out arriving at 10am. About 6 days later, I noticed the ressie said 8pm and 10pm. That one cost me $200 to fix.

I would keep calling everyday and make sure they know you'd be willing to switch rooms after the first night.

That's really unfortunate!

In 12/01 we drove down, made really good time, and ended up getting a room at a Days Inn not far from the DD area - just to sleep for the night (we had expected to stop in GA and had not booked advance ressies). Maybe something like that would be an option for back up???? Good luck!

Thanks guys. I am glad to know I am not the only one to mess up. lol

I will call every day. The problem with switching is that we have two rooms that are connecting.

We may have to stay offsite for one night. Wahhhhhh lol

Ask to speak to a supervisor. This happened to me last year, I know I looked at my reservation slip many times but I always saw the dates I thought I had changed my reservation to at AKL. The night before I was to leave I noticed my AKL Savannh view room was booked for the day I was leaving and after I would be gone. I called and the agent said there were no rooms left at that resort. I asked to speak to some one who could help me. I was staying at the Swan for 4 nights before switching to AKL. I wound up speaking to Troy in guest relations. He was able by some magic to get me into a WL room but I still wanted AKL. He kept trying and called me each day at the Swan. I was able to add a day at AKL each of two days while I was at the Swan. The last night before our switch, he called and said he had a Standard view room for us at AKL, which we took for the remainder of our trip. He called the front desk at AKL and requested an upgrade for us if it was available. Anyway, we were able to stay all 3 nights at AKL in a pool view room for a standard view price. Troy was my hero. He saved the day since the AKL is our favorite resort. If you have someone a Disney checking for you, you don't have to call every day and Magic does happen.
