Hi all,
I have taken many trips to WDW through the years, but this will be my first Pre-Trip report. We bought Annual Passes last trip, so we are going back in August.
Ok, here is how it starts:
Monday May 5 2008.
Having been home from WDW only 5 days, and taken advantage of the bounceback offer, we called and found the BC was available for August 10-13, and the Boardwalk Inn for the 14th. All was well, and booked and "set in stone"
(NOTE: When booking a WDW vacation, nothing is EVER "set in stone", until you pull up front of your resort).
Sunday June 14 2008.
So we were set until we decided 4 days(One being a moving day) was not enough time to enjoy the world to it's full extent. So we called and ended up booking the CBR (Caribbean Beach Resort) for the 6-10, but decided we wanted to try for POFQ or POR but nothing was available.
Wednesday June 18 2008.
So, now we had added our extra days, but hoped upon hoped something had opened up at the BC for our extra days. So we called, and asked the CM if anything had opened up for our dates, the answer on the other end was yes
. So now we had 2 days at CBR, and 5 at the BC. you would think by now our minds were made up, right? WRONG!
.
We called for a few days with nothing for the POFQ or POR, but we thought maybe we should push a little, and try for BC Club Level
, but to no avail until......
Yesterday June 22 2008.
We called to check on POFQ and POR (Still nothing), and asked about BC Club Level again, the CM said there was still no availability there, but she could put us at the YC Club Level for 3 of our 5 nights at AP(Annual Pass) rate, and all we would have to do is move (Once more) over to BC. This was perfect, so we booked 3 nights YC Club Level, 2 nights BC standard view.
--UPDATE!-- Saturday July 26 2008
We called Disney Dining for a California Grill reservation and lucked up on getting one for the day we wanted, except, it was for 5:40. So We fast forward to-------
Yesterday July 28 2008
Called to see if anything opened up closer to Wishes, and they said nothing, but, if we could move ahead a few days, we could have one for 9:40! Needless to say we jumped on it and now will be able to see Wishes while we are eating!
Today August 4 2008
