Reservation help please?

Made a ressie at ASMo at end of August using BAT (55 US night) . Ressie is for Dec. 19 -23.Now turns out we will be in WDW a day early (Dec. 18). Called WDW and was told that I could possibly modify ressie (add Dec. 18 at 55US as well). CM checked with supervisor and was told not possible since BAT is not an active code. So I added an extra night (Dec. 18) at rack rate using a continuing ressie.

Then CM told me to keep checking back and try to modify existing ressie to try and get the original cheap rate for the 18th as well.

Has this ever happened to anyone else at WDW hotel and were you able to eventually get the cheaper rate?

Any other suggestions?

We just had to recently add a second room just before our final payment was due on our package as my brother decided he wanted to join us on vacation. We figured the best we were going to do was the $55 a night special. (We're staying at Pop). But before I could even ask if there was any way we could get the 7 for 5 package on that room as well even though that package was no longer active (that's what we had booked the first room and tickets under), he offered to put that room under that package and saved us almost $200. It may be because it was under the same reservation and that we needed connecting rooms, but it never hurts to ask. I would maybe try to call back and speak to another CM and see what they say.

It is my understanding that you can modify dates or add rooms onto the same ressie at any time as long as the discounted room is available. I don't think you can modify resorts after the booking date ends. I would keep calling back!

I know that the room for the one night is still available but so far am only allowed to book it at rack rate.

I am trying to modify the exisiting ressie ( BAT) and have been told that since BAT is not a current code can not add another night onto the beginning of my ressie using it.

I called again last night and was told that AGAIN.

Will keep trying.
