Reservation for January Question

Can someone please let me know if I am missing something here?

I am trying to book for 5 nights in January in a tent site, January 10-15th. I am looking on Disney's website and it is saying it isn't available. I keep trying to change my stay and can't get a reservation.

Is there something going on around that time that the tents would be sold out already? I know the marathon is that weekend, but I would be shocked if it is already sold out for that as there are so many hotel options still open. (I am hoping there is some sort of glitch so I can book this!)

Sometimes you have to be creative with your dates on campsites. It seems to be a glitch somewhat unique to the campground. I just put in for Jan. 5 -17th and found availability on tent sites. You just have to book the longer trip and call back and remove the extra days. This is true for a room only reservation.
