No you do not have to stay at a resort......Just go to Guest services and ask for the restaurant you want and if you get lucky..(or call disney reservations and ask)....You will be eating there....

NO, you do not have to be staying on Disney Property to make a dining reservation for any resturaunt at Disney. You simply need to call the dining line to make your reservation. When are you visiting the parks? You will need to call 1-407-WDW DINE....(1-407-939-3463). If you are calling out of country, I am not sure what the US code is..............I hope this can help! You can call up to 180 days in advance, although there are some changes being made to dining. Just call them and ask!

Since you're going to Disneyland in California (according to you countdown timer in your signature), and not Walt Disney World in Florida, the reservations for dining are different.

The advice people gave was for WDW in Florida. The dining in California is only 60 days in advance, and that dining number is (714) 781-3463. And you don't have to stay at a Disney resort for either WDW or Disneyland to make dining reservations.
