Reservation for 4 but now only 3 going

I found out this morning that my dad will not be joining us our quick 2 day trip in November.

I have a reservation booked for 4 people at the Beach Club for breakfast but now there will only be 3 of us.

Do you think this will be a problem? I've tried looking for a reservation for 3 people and there are not any out there that interest us.

Has anyone had this happen to you and was it a problem? I don't foresee it being a problem but thought I'd check with others who might have faced this same situation.

I don't think so. I had friends not be able to make it and we were down 2 people, just told them at the podium and it was no problem.
They;d sit 3 people at a table for 4 anyway, so you won't have any issues.

I had a weeks worth of reservations booked for 3 and it only ended up being 2 of us. It was never once a problem

It shouldn't make a difference. Last year I booked a couple of ADR's for 2 people, but ended up being only me. And once I had to add someone, and still wasn't an issue. Have a great trip!

I would just leave it as 4 to be honest. The system has issues with odd numbers. So if i want an ADR for 1, im better off punching 2 ppl, not one. Lol! its weird. Dont worry you will be fine if you just leave it.

As PPs have said, this shouldn't be a problem. My family had this happen (ADR for 4, but only 3 were able to make it) and as long as it wasn't a pre-paid/deposit meal (breakfast at the Beach Club is not one of these) there shouldn't be a problem. We just told the host/hostess at the podium of the change.

There are generally no issues arriving with fewer people than you had on the reservation. (I think an exception might be if you booked a large group and a small number shows up, or if you booked a prepaid/guaranteed reservation). There may be issues showing up with extra people, but not so much showing up with fewer. Leave the reservation as it is.
