Reservation fee and DDP

I will more than likely hit my 180 before I am going to be able to get the DDP. I know some places charge a reservation fee if you don't have the DDP. Would our money be refunded once I add DDP?

I think you are referring to prepaid reservations (the ones that require full payment at booking). This applies to CRT and the three dinner shows (HDDR, SoA and Mickey's BBQ).

Just the act of adding DDP (either regular or deluxe - not quick service) won't get you a refund. You'd need to call WDW-DINE and ask for one. If for some reason you can't get one then, you can get one when you show up at CRT or pay for your tickets to a dinner show and switch your payment method to dining credits.
