Reservation confirmation doesn't say "concierge", is this ok??

I received the reservation confirmation in the mail today. It says "lagoon view" but nowhere on the paper does it say "concierge". Is this ok? Does it usually say concierge or not?
 
I would call to check though--I recently booked AKL concierge, and the CM only had me down for a savannah view room.

My conf. sheet also does not say "concierge," but I assume the price will be an indicater!!:rolleyes:
 

I questioned the same thing to Island Planning a couple days ago and they were a bit terse.

"This IS the concierge you are speaking with , and we have NEVER had people confirm they are staying concierge!"

oops....my bad I guess.......I was just checking, because.....

"Yes, you ARE in concierge, do you need help with a reservation?......no.......Thank you, goodbye."


......O....K.......I guess we ARE in concierge, hun.......maybe we shouldn't have called..........


We had spoken to the wonderful concierge CM at the BC last week and we were worried when the ressie confirmation didn't say "concierge" at the POLY. I thought a little checking would ease my mind. I didn't think I should attempt a room location request after that conversation. We were never contacted by the Poly concierge and waited at least a week+ before we tried to contact them.

I didn't mean to be unreasonable. I hope they were just having a busy day.

The concierge does not generate the reservation forms though--that's just WDTC or the reservations office.

The Polynesian confirmation has never indicated "concierge" on the room categories area of the form. There is a #code indication (view type maybe?? I don't have my form in front of me) that tells the staff you are in concierge. Call and confirm if you wish, but the "concierge" delineation has never been on one of my confirmations for Polynesian either. I'm sure you're fine--the rate is a clear indicator of concierge versus standard LV. ;)
 
My confirmation for our upcoming trip does say concierge. But it could be cause mine comes from Member Servies of DVC.
 
Always seems to be a problem with this on our confirmations!

For some odd reason, Poly concierge is never stated, at least NEVER of any of the recent three times we've stayed there.

But, I just looked at my AKL and YC confirmation, and they both say concierge and the view.

With WDTC.....it's a glitch in their system, and just call me cautious, but I always call to confirm our room status.

Just to make sure!

OK, good example for THIS next trip.
I called to pay off my rooms at the three resorts we're staying.
When we got to the last one, YC, the CM said I only owed about two-thirds of what I owed.
I told her, that wasn't the correct amount, and we went the rounds.
Asked her to go over my room reservation, and she had only waterview. No CONCIERGE!!!!!:earseek:

Well, to nip that in the bud, I told her we had already been mailed our concierge access key for the YC, and to call AMy at IPO to confirm our concierge status.
Sure enough, after several phone calls and a very tense hour of waiting, they found the "glitch" in their system and I was told by the supervising CM that we will have an comp upgrade on this trip.
So, I'll let ya'll know what becomes of this!::yes::

Anyways....make the call. Better to clear it up now than at check-in !:wave2:

That eases some of the concern. I'm sure the 'magic' will come to life the second we walk the grounds of the Poly, and all ressie hassles(however small) will be forgotten!! :bounce: :bounce:

Thanks everyone. I just called and the CM looked up our reservation and said it is a concierge room and doesn't know why the confirmation slip doesn't say so. So, apparently this does happen; the reservation is correct.

And yes, the price is definitely indicative of it being a concierge room :p
