Sorry if this has been asked already, I did try doing a search and wasn't able to find answers. Does the lead on a dining reservation have to be the person to check in or can anyone linked on the reservation check in? We have reservations for 'Ohana and Teppan Edo but my sister (the lead) is no longer going as my nephew is too young to wear face coverings. We are a party of 10 and 'Ohana is a split reservation (5/5). 3 of the 5 on one the reservations are no longer going. Teppan Edo is the reservation for 10. All of us are linked as guests on both reservations. We're not overly concerned about 'Ohana but as Teppan Edo is in the park and my sis will not be there, I just want to make sure that one of us can check in when we're ready.

Thanks! :-)

I've always just given name and time and party #. They have never asked for ID or even if I was that person. I don't think they care as long as someone shows up and gives the name for each ADR. You can tell them some people couldn't make it when you get there. Just make sure they know that some people in the party are checking in for that ADR.

I agree with Eastern. Anyone can check in, just give the “manager’s” name and ADR time. I’d check in for both ADRs at the same time, about 15 minutes before the earlier ADR, tell them you’re together and the total number of people dining, and ask to be seated as close together as possible.
