Can anyone tell me if they actually charge your card when making a reservation? We are interested in CRT Breakfast and HDDR. If charged, is it a general charge or the actual price? Thanks

Also, what are our chances of getting a table at CRT Breakfast mid February? Is it out of the question?

I do not know about HDDR, but CRT they do charge for the whole meal when you make the reservation.

Many have had great luck getting CRT in February right now. Lagging economy and confusion about the new ADR system has caused a drop in ADR bookings.

Call and see - you may be pleasantly surprised!

If your on the DDP they just use the CC # to hold the ressie. If your paying out right they charge it immediately in most cases.

We reserved HDDR and CRT last year. I told them we were on the dining plan so they just used my CC to hold the reservation. Later on, DH and I decided to pay OOP for CRT. I just called and told the operator that I wanted to pay OOP for CRT and she then charged my CC. I'm pretty sure that it has to be paid in advance or use your credits when you get there. I don't think you can pay cash when you get there.

I may be wrong, but I think with HDDR, they don't actually charge your credit card until you pick up the tickets. If you fail to cancel or pick up the tickets, you will be charged.
