Reservation before park opens?

We have a character breakfast at crystal palace at 8:30am before the park opens at 9:00. Do we need to bring our reservation confirmation to be admitted?

I bring a note of the reservation number just in case. I have only ever been asked for it once. I don''t bring the whole printed out email confirmation though.

You should always have your reservation number with you when heading for any WDW ADR.
It can come in handy incase of a mix-up.

For the MK early entry meal, you'll find a special "Character Breakfast" entrance gate all the way to the edge (sometimes right, sometimes left) of the other entrance gates.

Tell them you've got an early ADR (have your number ready) and you'll be let into the park.

I'd arrive at the MK gates about 8:00-8:10, or so.

Not only would I bring your conf # to this reservation but I would to all dining reservations. They can come in handy if something happened to ur reservation.

I have never needed a conf # to get into the park early though.

I agree with OANDA about bring the reservation Number with you - I also have the last name spelled out along with the time. I find this helps of nosiy at check-in desk or they just don't understand you! Of course our last name can & is mis-pronounced!

When we were just there the CM's were out front with lists of reservations and last names. So we just gave our last name and they checked it off on the list and then they let us in.

We always have the confirmation information printed out just in case there's a mix-up. As far as whether CMs ask for your information, we've had varying experiences. Last month, the CM at EPCOT asked for the name on the reservation for Akershus as we lined up for the early ADR line. He had a list of reservations, found my name and checked it off with a highlighter. At MK the next day for CP, the CM just directed us to the early ADR line when we told him we had a reservation - no list, no confirmation.

The buses from the resorts to the parks begin running about 6:30AM every day of the year.
