Reservation Availability in May

We are going May 18 till May 25 for a week. The Saturday we leave is the Saturday of Memorial day weekend. We were there the same week last year. It seems really strange though because we are 116 days out as of today and when I was looking last night at ADR's I could still get them for Be Our Guest, Cinderella's Royal Table, and Akershus.

Not that we necessarily want or need ADR's for these places but just strange because I have never seen them available this close to our trip. Those suckers are usually not available when I search at 180 days.

Granted we are a party of 2 and at BOG the available times are 4:35 and 8:30 but they were still there. Are people booking them less because of overhype and price or is this just some sort of anomoly?

A lot of these were available for my May trip as well (May 8-15) when I started booking last month (around 120 days, so 60 days after my booking window opened) and CRT was gone shortly after that, and BOG and Akershus were down to sporadic, late dinner times (like 9 pm which doesn't usually appeal to those with toddlers/ younger children).

BOG has lost a few customers because of the prix fixe menu and 2 TS credit charge, but is still pretty popular. Also the Storybook Dining at Artist Point that just opened, and the Tangled breakfast at Trattoria al Forno have become very popular so I think people may be booking those because neither one was available to me at 120 days. I don't usually have trouble getting CRT, Akershus, or BOG at 180 days out so to me this isn't unusual.
