I think Disney will assist those guests who were affected by the hurricanes. All you need to do is give them a call and ask to talk with Guest Services. The agents are trained to handle these types of situation.

Orlando went through Hurricanes last year and know what everyone is going through.

Just my two cents from my experience cancellating a reservation.
