We did this last year. We had a reservation in August on our contract but wanted to sell it.
I called the TTS and asked when they thought I should put it up for sale (this was April). They said list it then, and simply list that it would be a delayed closing.
We got an offer within a day (50 points so it went fast) and the new buyer had no problem waiting until after our August trip to close. It went to Disney for ROFR immediately and we heard it passed in early May. The closing happened on our check out day.
I was told that there are buyers out there who don't mind delayed closing contracts as it gives them time to come up with the money to buy. It doesn't hurt to list it.
Now, if you want it sold prior to taking the trip, then those reservations would have to be cancelled as you would not be the owner of those points any longer.
