Rescheduled trip with date based tickets question

I just rescheduled a family member's trip from end of May to mid-June. I had read that date based tickets should automatically change to a use by date of Dec 15th. They are still stating their original dates. They will be making FP's today and I"m concerned about the ticket dates allowing it. What needs to be done to allow FP's to be booked?

My date based tickets from a March trip can be used to book up to 30 days out as if they do not have a date attached anymore.

If I remember correctly our tickets didn’t change until our dates passed. Since end of May hasn’t passed yet or been technically cancelled I imagine you would need to call Disney and possibly pay the difference if there is one to change future dates.

Mine updated to show an expiration date of 12/15 once the park hours were removed from the website for the first day of the original ticket range.

Were you still able to make FP's even if the date hadn't physically shown that it had changed?

Could not book FP's. CM said the date had changed in the back and should be fine. Nope. Spent quite a while on the phone to get a key card added so FP's could get booked. There is a change date feature on MDE, but it didn't work.

I sure do miss the old ticket system, no dates to worry about, just how many days to buy.

We were not able to do this so I called and they changed the tickets for us. I had to explain to them that I needed to be able to book fastpasses.

My single day May 20 tickets changed to "until 12/15" this afternoon. May 20's hours officially changed to closed yesterday. As soon as the ticket date changed in MDE, I could make FPs for my new mid-June day.
