Resale points

Our payment for the resale contract was delivered last week. In about how many days could we expect the points to show up in our membership. They are VB points if that makes a difference.

The resale points are usually available about a week after closing and that may not be the same as when your payment was received. Your closing agent should be able to let you know when the contract will close. After closing, the deed needs to be recorded with the county and the new owner information sent to DVC so it can be entered into the DVC database. That usually takes about a week.

Also remember that the sellers documents must be received as well before closing can occur. So, once buyers documents and funds and sellers documents are received, closing can then occur. It will take Disney 7 - 10 days to enter your information into their system and then you can make your first reservation.

We were about 10 days before we shown up on DVC system, however I have telephoned them twice for our confirmation in paper form and also for membership cards both have still not been received.

Sellers had taken their time sending their information in, so just now is the contract on it's way to Disney. Soon it will be in our membership!
