Resale points not there

We just bought resale at AKV. The contract I signed through the broker, that I have in hand says 150 points available 2019, 150 points coming 2/2020. I registered our account on dvc website. The points are not there. I called MS, they said, you're right, they aren't there....advis d me to call MA on Monday. Any idea what could be happening? Or is this going to be a problem with the contract ? Thanks for any help!

Congrats and welcome home! Sometimes there can be a delay with loading the points. Hopefully, they will get you sorted come Monday. Goodluck!

It's different people that load the contract and then load the points. There is always a delay between the two. The resale companies now say it can take 10-14 days for the points to appear and there have been recent reports it's been up to 10 days from the time the contract is entered into your account to the time the points are loaded. Nothing to be concerned about - it's been like that since we bought our first resale over a decade ago.

Personally I wouldn't call yet. I'm actually waiting on a few points myself. Contract was input sometime on Wed and no points yet. As I mentioned the process has been this way as long as I've owned and the only variable has been the number of days before the points are loaded.

Definitely freaked out! I was about having an anxiety attack telling DH...we just wasted all this money, I could have booked 3 plus vacations with that money etc! Thanks for the info.....I guess I have to tell DH he was right about my overreaction!

Same thing happened to us a few years ago, they need to be loaded. Takes a few days. We were upset too. Just want to book a room and can’t wait.

We bought a resale - an add on to our previous resale and i would say it took 7-10 days to see the points loaded into the contract once it eventually appeared online.

I just closed on a resale contract at the end of June. It took almost two weeks from the time I was able to log in to the website until when my points appeared. They said this is common.

So relieved to hear that this experience is normal! We aren't in a huge hurry to make reservations with this contract, so my stress has been eliminated after hearing everyone's responses thank you!!!!
