Resale effects of Hurricane Matthew

Did hurricane Matthew effect the resale availability of Hilton Head this past year? Are people now more concerned with buying in there verses before? Any insight and opinions?

I haven't seen that being discussed much related to this past year but it's always been something brought up concerning both coastal resorts - HHI and VB.

They've essentially always been cheaper up front and higher dues resale. I doubt it made much difference, any damage was done already. It's never a reasonable choice to buy either just to use at WDW because of the cheaper up front cost but it can be reasonable for dual usage points. For those areas and types of vacations there are better and often cheaper resort options for many people.
