Resale Documents

I saw a post awhile back saying that when you buy resale, there are some documents pertaining to the DVC membership that you
don't receive, either at all or unless you specifically request them from DVC. Does anyone recall or know what these documents are that was mentioned in the post? Thanks.

There was a post a few months ago saying they were told they wouldn't get the member guidebook because they bought resale. This has not been anyone else's experience to my knowledge, quite the contrary. I wouldn't worry about it but even so, everything is on the member website which you would have access to if you are a member.

things you should receive automatically:

1) Member Guidebook
2) Member ID cards

things you probably won't receive automatically, but you should request a copy from your DVC Guide after your resale has closed:

3) Public Offering Statement for your resort (i.e. OKW, BWV, VWL, VB, HH, etc. whichever resort your purchased)
4) Multi-Site Public Offering Statement

those 2 items are basically all the official terms and conditions you will be bound to by becoming a DVC Member.

You can also request those documents from the seller, since they did receive them from DVC with their purchase.

You should ask for the most current POS as they vary a little over the years and the one the seller got likely is not the most current.
