We're in the process of buying our third contract - second resale - and have a question regarding combining points. Some background on what we DO know... we originally purchased two contracts at the same time - one from Disney direct (150 at VWL) and one resale (250 at BWV). Both are September use year, so when they both hit our account we were given one single member number for both contracts. When we call, they can see both on screen at once. It's quite nice!

Now we're in the process of buying another set of BWV points, also September use year. We know from our past experience that these will (should) show up under our existing member number. Our question is will they view as combined with our existing BWV contract, or will we have to manage two sets of BWV points? No biggie, as they're both September use year, but just wondering how they do the accounting in the system. Will they see two BWV contracts - 250 and 150 - or will they see one with 400 points? I know legally the contracts remain separate and we can sell one, but we've heard reports (and Jaki thinks this is the case) that the tracking system at DVC will simply look at it during booking/banking/borrowing as one big lump of points.

We're just wondering how we need to track things at home for banking/booking purposes. Sure would be easier to have one line on the spreadsheet for 400!

We own a number of contracts at OKW...all but one purchased from Disney. Since free passes ended, the separate contracts have been a non-issue. Your points at eash resort will be treated as though they were one single block.

If you request a point statement, you'll see that point usage is still separated by contract.
