Resale Approved!!

I just heard from Pat Spell at The Timeshare Store that my resale was approved. It was for VWL 150 points February use year $69/point. Thanks to this board for all the insight. I can't wait to close so I can plan our first trip home!

No banked points but we were just were in Disney in February and this was better for us than MB.

Question: did Disney not exercise its right to buy back the contract at $69 per point (when they seem to be buying others at $70 to $72 per point) because it had no banked points?

Was it approved by the owner or did Disney not exercise their right?? Also, isn't Pat wonderful, that's who we bought our resale at the VWL with back in October (though we didn't close till January!!!)

Disney did not exercise their ROFR. It took about 2.5 weeks to hear back from Disney and the wait seemed forever. I don't know why they did not exercise the ROFR but when I made the offer we were hoping it would go through because there were no banked points!

I hope closing happens quickly so I can make some reservations!!

Then a big congrats!!! Ours took so long because the owners were over in England, so they had to keep going to the US consulate to have things notorized, then we ran into the Thanksgiving holidays, Christmas holidays, New Years holidays, then end of year accounting with Disney!!! Disney had the paperwork for about 2 weeks but couldn't file or do anything with it because of their computer system!! So good luck!!

Yup, tryin' to see if I can get a small one and get started. Seein' the value and convenience there, I should be able to convince my DW to expand our points and we can schedule bigger vacations.

Hopefully I can get somethin' done before Sept-Oct when our next trip to WDW is tentatively planned.
