If I buy an additional resale contract with the same use year and resort as my original contract how is that treated by MS? Will it all just be lumped together under one contract (like if I bought directly from DVC) or will I have to manage the two contracts separately?
Thanks,
Jennifer
Our Vero Beach resale add on was for the same use year, and we only have one membership number. When MS looks us up they see VB, BWV(original) and VWL(add on through Disney) points.
If I'm not mistaken (from what I've read on the board), I think it's better if it remains 2 separate contracts---easier to sell 2 smaller ones at a later date, or will to more than one heir.

They will be separate no matter what from this standpoint. The question is whether DVC will lump them together under one membership number and for banking purposes. IF the registration is exactly the same in all aspects, it is their goal to combine them. But they might miss some and if they do, they will not go back and do so later. it you want them together, make it know up front, put it in the contract and let DVC know directly (member admin, not MS).
