Hi all,

We'll be using the RER alot on our visit:

Day 1: Paris Nord to Bussy St Georges.
Day 2: Bussy St Georges to Disneyland (return)
Day 3: Bussy St Georges to Paris (return)
Day 4: Bussy St Georges to Paris (return)
Day 5: Bussy St Georges to Disneyland (return)
Day 6: Bussy St Georges to Disneyland (return)
Day 7: Bussy St Georges to Disneyland (return)
Day 8: Bussy St Georges to Paris.

Is there a certain pass we could get or will it be cheaper to pay on the day?

How much would we be looking at?

Thanks!

Bussy to DLP is only a couple of stops so will only cost a couple of Euros whereas Paris is in a different zone so you will need a special ticket.

I dont think it will be worth buying a weekly ticket as you are only doing the longer journey on some days ( so would be paying the much higher price into Paris when not needed)

The days trips into Paris - your best bet is either the mobilis or Paris Visite. The mobilis is slightly cheaper but isnt advertised on the English website - just ask at the station though and they'll give you the ticket. Both this and Paris Visite allows you to use metro in Paris as well with same ticket as much as you want on that day.

Paris Visite also gives discounts on some entry tickets but look at the website for info first as not necessarily ones youd be visiting anyhow.

For both of these you can get 2 day tickets but I think they have to be consecutive days.

The days travelling one way from Paris/into Paris it will just be cheaper buying a one way ticket as long as you're not planning no loads of metro trips as well round Paris.

I usually just google Paris Metro and get info from there. I'll try and look up some prices for you

DLP is on the cusp of zones 5 and 6 on the RER and Bussy is in zone 5, so you'd need a travelcard that covers all the zones. There is a 5 day Paris Visite card that does this, at a cost of E47, but they don't have any reference on their website to longer period travelcards.

When we were in Paris last September we found that carnet worked best for us. You get a set of 10 tickets for E11,10. It's worth checking whether these can be used between bussy and disneyland. The website says it can be used for:

the RER (RATP and SNCF) within Paris

And since the DLP stop in on SNCF red line, I think you'd be alright.

The info is on the RER website http://www.ratp.info/informer/anglais/ticket_t.php
Hope the link works.

You can buy a carnet and share the tickets between your group. We got through 2 carnet over the course of a few days.

Found it:

Paris Visite: Zones 1-6 (Paris is in zone 1 /DLP is zone 5) -€18- one day, €27.50 2 days

Mobilis: Zones 1-5 €12.50 one day (sorry dont think you can get 2 days)

One way Paris-DLP - €6.30

If I were you Id buy single tickets for single journeys to and from Paris, tickets on day from Bussy to DLP then Mobilis on days going to Paris for day

Hope this all makes sense if not just ask
