Hi,

We are thinking of going into Paris in a couple of weeks as part of our DLRP trip.

We have used the RER to Val d'Europe however we fancy a visit into Paris itself and Julie really wants to visit Printemps department store.

Auber is the best station I think, how long does it take (about 45 minutes?), any other tips welcome.

It is about 45mins.

The biggest tip I could give you is to check the boards above the track when you're coming back to Disney. RER Line A splits before Disney so only half the trains go there. The board above will have a list of stations on it and each one has a light next to it. Make sure the light for Marne La Vallee is lit before you get on the train.

If you like department stores, you should check out Galerie laFayette. It's huge and very impressive. They also have a free viewing platform on the roof that offers one of the best views of Paris. Just keep going up the escalators and you can't miss it.

When heading to Paris, I prefer to go to Charles De Gaulle Etoile station. It's right next to the Arc de Triomphe at the top of the Champs Elysees. From there you can get a direct connection to the Trocadero which is great for the Eiffel Tower.

There's a route planner here which might be of use: http://www.ratp.fr/itineraires/en/ratp/recherche-avancee
