Requests Anyone

I don't have to have pictures of this, but could you tell us which loops have definitely been converted to premium sites? It should be fairly easy to notice the additions to the cement pads. Thanks.

Absolutely, (sorry, watching the Rocky marathon), I'd like to see what the new, improved sites that folks will be forking out more money for look like. They should be close to finishing here shortly with all the loops, but with the freezes last week, progress probably slowed quite a bit.

Putting it on the list.:thumbsup2

WHAT!!!?? I missed a Rocky marathon!?

If you havent left yet, I would like to know the status of 1100 loop - are they done upgrading it yet..?

It's our favorite loop, so keep it quiet and dont tell anyone...

Thanks for the link. :thumbsup2 They only had one to offer so I grabbed it, my first Ebay purchase. You always remember your first time.

Boy! I'm sure glad you got the last one! He had two when I bought mine, and I sure would have felt guilty if the other one walked before you got to it! Ok, a little guilty. Okay, fine, I was simply relishing in my purchase and didn't give a wit if you got yours! ROFLOL!!!

Thanks Lucky!
:thumbsup2

Shan,
Thanks for leaving me one though I wouldn't blame you if you didn't.

I have that sticker on the back of my truck. It did not hold up very well. Some of the vinyl is very fine and narrow and hard to get to adhere. I lost the pine tree detail fairly quickly.
I know I have another one somewhere but I haven't looked yet, I always buy 2 stickers in case I have a problem with the first one.

Oh no....I think you might be turning into a Bad Santa!

Funny you should ask about the 1100 loop, because I asked for pictures of it on the first page. My DSil stayed there two years ago and liked it, so we put in a request for it. I had been trying to get info on the 1100 and I couldn't find much talk about it. I am glad to hear that it is someones favorite loop. Care to share why you like it?

I would love to post some pics of 1100, but our camera died last time we were there, so all I got was some cell pics that didnt turn out so well. I'll see if I can find them for you. We typically dont make loop requests - we sort of like the surprise factor. We were in 600 first time, and it was a real challenge to get our old 32ft TT backed into the site - had to pull across the main road in order to get it in. Last year we got site 1101, and fell in love with it. While that site might be the first one in the loop, it is the most spacious one that we have seen throughout the entire campground. If they wanted to, they could easily fit in at least 2 more sites on either side of this one. It was very easy to back our fiver into, and because of the space we felt like we didnt have any neighbors at all. With all the tress throughout the loop, it just seemed like we really were out in the wilderness. Every site appeared to be larger than others (at least to us), and there didnt "seem" to be a ton of sites within the loop. While there is a bus stop right across the way, and it's not too far from the Meadows area, I would highly recommend a golf cart if you stay in this loop. It made a huge difference for us, and made our vacation even more memorable (my girls love looping now..!). So given the larger sites, more space in between some of the sites, and all the trees, it was just a great peaceful site/loop. When we got back home and made our ressies for this year, we requested the same loop.

Hopefully someone can tell us the status of this loop, as I'm really hoping that they havent cut down most of the trees during the "remodel".

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground to increase the number of sites in the 1100 loop by 4, sites 1101A, 1101B, 1101C and 1101D.

That's what the headline is going to read if you're not careful. Shhhh. . . :ssst: We don't want to give them ideas. Next thing you know that site will be :crowded:.

Oh man...! That reminds me of the time we were in Myrtle Beach and had site 703A..!!

Nobody reads these boards, right..?

(thanks for the humor, its appreciated..!!) :rotfl:

I think you're right, there could easily be another site before 1001. If they moved the sidewalk closer to the road they might be able to add 2-3! Shhh!

Nice loop, here's some pics.....

1101 site

The gentleman was at his 1101 site when I drove by and say OK to the picture, but he didn't want to be in it. Big site, look at all the goodies

Site at the back of the loop. Good size with upgrade, but same picnic table. Can you spot Mickey checking us out?

1100 loop had quite a few big rigs in it. Nice entrance and large non site opening right at the entrance.

I don't have a particular request, but I do have a lot of fun looking at a photo and trying to guess what it is and where it was taken. Other threads here post pictures for viewers to make guesses about. That would be my request...many pictures of current day stuff we can guess where you were when you took it.

P.S. I just thought of an official request. Can you take pictures of the flower beds outside the doors to the Ft. Wilderness front desk(especially the parking lot side). It's always so pretty and colorful. It will brighten my day in the frigid winter cold to see that right now.

The bad weather hadn't moved in yet, in fact the weather this AM was perfect. So here's some warmth and color from the Fort....

The butterfly in the middle, spot of orange almost landed on me as I walked up to take some pics. I tried for almost 1/2 a hour in Dec. to get a shot of a stationary butterfly.

There's some color, but the freezes and frost are definitely taking their toll.
