Requesting Room Close to Friend's Room

We have a 2BR Lake View at BLT this summer, as does my friend. When/how can we request that the two rooms be located close to one another?

You should each call MS and ask for the rooms to be near each other. You will need the reservation number for your friend and they will need the one for you. They may be able to do it with just one call also. I did it at the time of making the reservation and they were able to put us in the same building at OKW just not on the same floor. It worked out well.

Depending on how many people you have, can you make it a grand gathering? (8 or more). Everyone keeps their own reservation and they just link them. We did that in September, had 3 different reservations at POFQ, and one even checked in 3 days into our trip- and we were all 3 rooms in a row. Try to call- but I agree with the other post, make sure you have their reservation number when you call.

OP one thing to keep in mind is that BLT really isn't all that big so... playing devil's advocate... if your rooms aren't "close" they really won't be that far. I know it's not the answer you want or much help just something to keep in mind. You could be booked at SSR or OKW; that would be far more concerning to try and get close
