Requesting certain servers on Wonder?

We are sailing in April on the Wonder and sailed previously last June. We loved our servers and were wondering if it is possible to request your servers for dinner. If so, how would you go about doing that?

You can request a specific server by calling the cruise line and having them add that request to your reservation. You'll need to tell them the server's name and which country they are from. We did it for our upcoming Feb cruise. they told us there was no guarantee but that the person doing the seating would do their best. Also, if you're a DVC member you need to go through DVC member services. We're hoping it works for us in Feb. and hope it works for you also!

You can request as above. When you board, you can go to "Dining Changes" and inquire as to whether your request was honored or if you can be moved to that server.

As above, there is no promise that they can do it, but they will note it on the reservation. Serving teams do change, so you might be able to have your server with a different assistant or vice versa.

My favorite was when we met some people outside Lumiere's who commented that we were the ones who "got him." It seems that our favorite server had 17 requests on that cruise and our party of 2 was the only one that could be added to his assignment. Unfortunately for us, he's no longer with DCL.

We just finished our cruise and I hope our server is still there when we do our next one in 2 1/2 years! Let me know if it works!

It works. It's just a matter of your server still being on the ship (not on vacation or transfered to the other ship). We requested and got the same server at least 6 times! Unfortunately, he's no longer sailing. Will make a request again in May for another favorite.
