Requesting a room

Is it possible to request a cars themed room at the Santa Fe? I didn't book directly with DLP but the travel agent did. Is there an email address I can use? I'd love to stay in a refurbished cars room! Since its my first ever visit and stay in a disney hotel

phone the hotel direct about 3 days before you check in - by that time DLP will have your name and booking details from your travel agent, and they will be starting the process of allocating your room at the hotel.

I think nearly all the rooms have been refurbished, it looked that way when I went in November

Maybe I'll wait and see what we get. I imagine the phone call would cost quite a bit.
I guess it doesn't matter too much as we will hardly be in the room.

if you phone from a UK landline and use a discount dial number first, it costs 0.5p per minute to call the hotel in France .

I'm not convinced all the rooms are completely refurbed yet, when we went in February the receptionist made a big deal of pointing out that our rooms were the newly refurbished ones.

We will be arriving at DLH on June 17. There are 5 of us and I have booked 2 rooms. Should I contact them ahead of time to assure getting rooms together? Or do they do this automatically.

yes, I would phone the hotel and ask for interconnecting rooms, best to make sure .

Yes, you never know

We celebrated by daughter's birthday at the HNY last year and I sent an email to the hotel about 3 days before our visit explaining this. We got a lovely room with some extras. I used this email address dlp.guest.communication@disney.com - it's the same for all the on-site hotels.

I would also call the hotel directly to ensure you get connecting rooms. We've done this in the past and always got connecting rooms.
