Requesting A Regular Day Off

Hey! I'm currently a new CP working attractions in the MK. I was just browsing the Internet to see if CM can request a certain day off and I stumbled on one of your posts a few years ago. My religion is Seventh Day Adventism and we observe the sabbath on Saturdays. I read in your post that you were granted your Sunday off because of religious reasons and also because you had an official letter. Do you think I would be able to get all my Saturdays granted off because of my religious background and if I bring them a letter? And who do I give the letter to? My manager? Thanks!

Hi, I'm currently doing the CP, and I was wondering if there's a way to request the same day off each week. For example, if I want Wednesdays off every week. I was looking for a way to do this on the hub, but I couldn't find it.

I don't know about this at all. I have heard that the students from BYU (which is Mormon) live in separate housing paid for by the school, and maybe the school has some sort of deal worked out with Disney. You are supposed to give full availability so that is something you need to ask a recruiter about.

You don't have to work any, if you request off or give away your shifts, but then you will owe housing money for rent. Most people work 5 days, maybe 6 if it is a busy time of year

Also, about how many hours?

Depends on your role, you are guaranteed 30, unless you request off. But some people work as many as 60 during peak times

Can we also request certain shifts???

Not likely. You will most likely work closing shifts, but that depends again on your role and location.
