Nope. No rule. There could be an entire dining room of servers with the same first name if that were to be who was most qualified.

Just returned from the fantasy. We requested our favorite server, but he was still on vacation. They assigned us a server with the same first name, from the same country! Both the server and assistant server knew that we had requested the other Steven from India and hoped we were ok with this Steven from India! Just fyi. They said there are currently 3 Steven’s from India as lead servers on the fantasy.

We ended up loving the other Steven from India and had a great week with him!
