I mostly lurk on these boards, and rarely post, but I have a small request. My grandson is in his first year of a 2 year cullinary program, and the students are to begin researching possible externships. He loves WDW and would like contact information for Disney chefs, particularly at the Grand Floridian. Unfortunately, my wife and I are not making a trip to Florida anytime soon. When we have eaten at WDW restaurants, and asked about a recipe, the chefs have been very accomodating, and usually came to the table with their business card or e-mail address on a piece of paper.
To get to the point, do any of you have a connection to someone working in WDW food service who might help or, better yet, are any of you at WDW now or going soon? I'll pm you or vice versa if you think you could be of assistance. My grandson thanks you, as do I.

I can't help you, but I like to read the Restaurants board. There are people over there who can rattle off the chefs' names, so you might want to post this there too in case they don't look at the community board.

idk if this would come across tacky, but how about going to the F&WF, party for the senses, and meeting some of the WDW chefs in person. IDK how sociable your grandson is, but i would think if he talked to them in any length and told of his dream to work there, they would at least give him some tips or point him in the right direction as to who to talk to.
