We are currently booked at RPR July 4-7th in a water view 2 queen room. I think I would prefer to be in tower 1 but I know I definitely do not want to be in tower 2 (seem far from everything). Are there water view rooms in tower 2? Looking at a satellite view of the hotel, it doesn't seem like any rooms in tower 2 would have a water view? I'm just wondering if I should bother with a special request or my room type will take care of it. I don't think I want to be in Tower 3 either. We walk to the park and it just seems far, but close to the boat. Are there any points I'm missing, any reason I don't want Tower 1?

if you have a tower preference, call and have it added to your reservation.
call the hotel for this.
also let it be known you do not want tower 2 at all.
that is the only building that allows smokers on the lower floor and pets.

tower 3 is my favorite now.
it is very close to food and shops on the 1st floor of the building tower 1.

the walk is about one minute more than tower 3 is.
tower 3 is closest to the water taxi.
tower 1 is closet to the walking path to city walk.

either way, it's only a minute walk to either location to the parks.

Thanks Macraven. I just called and added it to my reservation. Not long now!

I was just wondering what tower do you get if you are staying Club Level?

Thanks

Club is floor 7 tower 3.:thumbsup2

Geez louise, I always get that wrong!!!

One of these days I'll actually have to stay on club level to remember!!!

That is weird that they put club level in the worst tower!

I never stay club, but the worst tower is 2. I enjoy tower 1, top floors, end of halls, the most and thats what is requested on my Youfirst account.:thumbsup2

man, damo, when i read your post, i thought huh......

second thought was, i need to drink more coffee.
then i reread the post.
like bluer said, club is tower 3.

i know as my key did not work for past floor 6 .............

some homies do like tower 2.
there are not enough views for me to recommend to others to stay there.
i would rank it 3rd out of the 3 hotels at rph.

there are more rooms located in towers 1 & 2 for park views, water way and the pool area.
and parry hotter's 'castle' ;)
eh, i'm a muggle.:rolleyes1

i have stayed club at hrh but not at rph yet.

i do the same thing.
i have on my youfirst account, king suite higher floor.
rph is very accommodating with requests.

i used to stay only at tower 1 but changed it to tower 2 in 2005.

Yea, I also like the end of the halls so you don't have to much noise passing by.:thumbsup2

I liked our room on our last visit. Tower 1, near the end of the hall. It really made the walk shorter to the parks. I do enjoy our Tower 2 views though. Whenever I've been in Tower 3 it has been a highway view. Yuck.

I called up today to put my room request in. The resort is all non smoking. I did request that I did not want a room with pets and preferred tower 1.

OH YEAH! I came over here (to the hotel board) to make a topic and COULD NOT remember why! That's why! Had heard that effective this year some time that ALL rooms would be non-smoking. It has to do with the cost of insurance on smoking versus non smoking rooms. So now you are only allowed to smoke outside in designated areas.

With rental homes myself I feel this is a great idea. The amount of linens, floorings, and paint we go through with smokers is absurd!

Smokers be forewarned! Stay on a low level so you can go outside every so often.

I have not stayed at RPR yet, but I just called and spoke to someone in the Club Level Lounge. She said Club Level is in Tower 3.

Why is tower 3 the worst tower?

Just wondering what number/email address I should use to make room request. I plan on doing this on 6/27 as we arrive at rpr on 7/1. Is that a good plan or is it too early/late? Also anyone know of which rooms/towers have adjoining rooms? We need one room with king and other with two queens! We have done this in the past but at pbr. Sorry for so many questions. This is our first stay at RPR. Any advice will be appreciated and helpful! Also we are lowes first customers but the card was not made available at the time the trip was booked. Is it too late to request the perks?

Thanks!

If you are a new You First member at Loews, you aren't eligible for any perks yet. Cards aren't issued anymore. Your number will be kept in the system.

All towers have adjoining rooms. You can call the hotel directly to request. The phone number and their fax number are on their website. There are more adjoining rooms that are double queen to double queen, so you might have some problems getting what you need.

You should call about 5 days before your trip. However, you can call now and have it added to your reservation. Perhaps you already did this when you booked.

do what damo suggested.

from what i have been told over the years by hotel front desk, the ressies are forwarded to one person who assigns the rooms by 3-4 days out usually to the incoming guests.

calling 5 days in advance is good to do.
hotel rooms can easily be switched around quicker for you then.
