or those of you wanting to know what the deal is, here is a brief description.

In a recent issue of Disney Insider distributed to Castaway Club Members (past DCL cruisers), the readers were given postcards to give to potential first-time cruisers. When the first time cruisers mailed in these cards, they would receive a video and a $50 shipboard credit on thier first cruise. This thread is a place for 1st time cruisers to let Castaway Club members know they would like to receive a post card. There are no guarentees and no rules on first come first served. This is just a place for you to post your request.

Good Luck to all.

1st timer June 30 Wonder--would appreciate a postcard if anyone has one--Thanks!

I f anyone could spare a postcard we'd appreciate it. We're going on Wonder 4/21 for our tenth anniversary - without kids! Thanks in advance (sltcheng@aol.com)

Is there an expiration date on the postcards? I am planning a family trip in early 2004 for our first cruise, would love to have postcard to go along with the planning..thanks:pinkbounc

We will be first time cruisers in June 03. If there is no expiration date before this time, I would very much appreciate at postcard. Samsma4@aol.com. Thank you!

We cruised in September but still have not received an offer to be a part of the Castaway Club nor received an Insider. Was this only offered to certain categories? Thanks.

I would love to receive a postcard as well. We're heading for our cruise on May 18th on the Disney Magic. I just found this board yesterday and am so excited about all the great tips I've found. Thanks for everything!!! :pinkbounc

Just wanted to post to tell everyone that I called DVC to ask about the $50.00 on board credit to first time cruisers. The man on the phone was not aware of this but after checking and came back he told me that because this was my first time on the cruise, and because I was in a catagory 11 stateroom, I would receive it. It is nice cause I booked to staterooms so he said that the coupon would be in both staterooms when we arrived.

Thank you so much for making me aware of this credit. I would have never known about it.

Linda

:pinkbounc This is our first Disney Cruise, and my first time to this forum. I greatly appreciate all of the information found here. I am sailing with a friend and her daughter and I am taking my 3 nephews. Their first cruise also.
Thanks ahead of time to anyone who has a postcard they would like to give us.

To Kupiecb - What is the $50 on board credit from DVC that you received? IS this the same thing as a postcard? I'm travelling on 4/21 on a 4 day Wonder booked on DVC points. Could this als apply to me? Thanks.

I didnt know anything about the 50.00 on board credit until I read it on this board. I called DVC and inquired about it. The only thing I know is that I will be getting it cause it is the first cruise and because I am staying in an 11 stateroom. I am not sure what catagory staterooms this applies to but it would hurt calling and finding out about it. Keep in mind that the man the I spoke with at DVC didnt know anything about it, he checked with someone else there, and they applied it to my reservation. He said that the 50.00 credit would be in my room when I arrive, so we will see.

Please send us a postcard, also. We are first time cruisers who will be on the Wonder June2.

Susie

I have 4 post cards available for you guys. I will respond to the 1st 4 people that e-mail me. I can be reached at erick.miller@us.nestle.com

There is one sentence on the post card that you should know about. It states: "Must be applied at time of booking".

I am assuming that if you already have your cruise booked, you can't use this card, so please, only e-mail me if you have not booked your cruise yet. Good luck. Eric
