My DF is battling lymphoma. He was told last week that he was in remission

, but got a phone call today about his blood work. There is something wrong with one of his organs. Since his color is never good, DM suspects it is either his liver or his pancreas. The chemo basically killed his bone marrow, so he cannot take chemo again for quite a while, if ever. Please pray for my family that this is not cancer in his liver. We have a trip planned to WDW in Nov., realizing that it will probably be DF's last, and he is soooo excited about this trip! He is like a little kid. If something happens and we can't go, he will really be upset. We have accepted that our time with him is limited, but we are hoping and praying that we have at least a couple of more years. Thank you so much for this. He has to go in Tues. for a consultation, so I will give an update Tues. night. Thanks again.
Update:
It took a lot more than a few days, and honestly, I don't think we have much more of an answer now than we did then. Good news first, it's not cancer!
His body has too much potassium and calcium, and it is effecting his kidneys. They continue to do tests, call to say that they don't look good, please come in for more tests, and repeat. He has an appointment with a kidney specialist in - get this - November!

They are trying to get him in earlier. This is all effects of the chemo it seems. It is crazy how they have to nearly kill you to treat cancer! But hey, doesn't seem to be life threatening at this point so we are happy. Any news that doesn't shorten his lifespan is good news these days. Thanks so much for the P&PD!!
