Stayed at Sequoia Lodge in February 2007 with my sister and our two girls aged 8 and 9. Upgraded free to Montana room which was great as in main building, only difference is a mini bar which we didnt use. Rooms are very spacious. I dont think Id pay extra but just hope for a free upgrade. Hotel is lovely, the bar is cosy although I dont think theyll have the fire on in the summer, girls loved the swimming pool and slide, we went one morning at 7am and had the pool to ourselves. Great location, walk straight out of door besides restaurants and onto Lake Disney 5 mins from Disney Village and parks.
Breakfast was lovely, loads of choice and not as busy as Santa Fe, also had a table set up outside the restaurant if you just want to grab a coffee or hot chocolate and take with you to the parks (free!).
We had the half board plus meal plan option which was great value for money. Choose this option if you want to eat in Sequoia Lodge as other (half board) option doesnt include this hotel restaurant.
We had three nights on the half board plus option and ate at:
Beaver Creek restaurant, Sequoia Lodge - Lovely restaurant and buffet. Salad Bar was fab and included peel and eat prawns. Loads of choice in main courses, chicken nuggets, chips, pizza etc for kids who could also eat adult options including roast meats, casseroles, lasagne and loads of vegetables! A delicious dessert buffet included cheesecakes, chocolate mousse, fresh fruit salad, gateaux and delicious crusty bread to cut yourself and cheeses. The half board plus meal option includes a soft drink, we also bought a half carafe of wine only 6e.
Lucky Nugget Saloon Tex Mex buffet, girls loved the atmosphere, we sat in rows like a music hall? Plenty of characters came to the table including Minnie, spent time with girls. Lovely choice of food, salad bar, delicious soup, fajitas, spag bol, chilli etc as well as usual chicken nuggets and pizza. Similar dessert bar as prev but also included delicious crepes and ice lollies!
Auberge de Centrillion before it became a princess meal not sure if still included on this plan. Beautiful restaurant and excellent service. Buffet appetisers included soups, crusty bread and salad bar. Main course selected from menu, adults chose salmon and girls pasta all delicious on lovely china plates decorated with Cinderellas mice. Buffet dessert bar similar to other 2 restaurants which girls loved at every restaurant.
This meal option is excellent value for money and includes lots of fresh fruit and vegetables!

Choice of 14 restaurants listed on
Disneyland Paris official website. You can also use vouchers at face value to more expensive restaurants but would then not gain 15% discount. Also felt restaurants with buffet dessert bars better for girls especially with new limited childrens menu at non-buffet restaurants. (Also loved Belle Notte counter service pizza meal).
Hope this helps, havent posted on this board before but wanted to share my experiences. Booked again for 4 nights/5 days at Newport Bay in August, Admirals floor and will definitely buy the half board plus meal plan again, this time going with husband, daughter aged 8 and son aged 13.
