Request for das touring plan

Hi all!
Since the das has been out for several months, I thought someone might has some good park plans for das use. Like how to space fp+ for use with das! suggestions for minimizing crisis crossing parks, etc. or, what DIDNT work. Thanks!

This really isn't any kind of one size fits all touring plan combining FP+ and DAS. Most of us who are in need of the DAS can't spend long days in the parks so we have to pick and choose a handful of our top attractions to see in one day. You have to decide on what YOUR set of top attractions are and go from there. On top of that, most of us who are in need of the DAS are limited to specific times of day when we can really be in the park (my family is very much early birds so we're there RD until lunch but others can't get to the park until after they've eaten lunch because it's just so important for many of us who need a DAS to stick very closely to our at home schedules) so time of day really does play a factor in how you use FP+ and DAS and just understanding crowd patterns in order to make the time you spend in the park successful.

If you're looking for more general suggestions, I'd say book your FP+ for during a 3 hour window when you know the person with special needs will be best able to cope with the parks and book them for the attractions that will end up with the longest return times. Before heading to the first FP+ attraction, get a DAS return time for an attraction that's nearby, one with a moderate return time. If you've got filler time in between FP+ times and DAS return times then either go to filler attractions (those that typically have little to no wait time) or else shop and/or get snacks and/or check out streetmosphere, play areas, etc.

One caviate is that you want to take a look at how long some of the FP lines can take to get through. Over the years I've seen the Soarin' FP line take a good half hour from the time we enter the queue until we're in a group waiting to board. I make sure that the few attractions like that are ones for which I booked an FP+ early in the day when the FP queue still moves quicker than it does later in the day.

Depending on the temperature we stay at a park 3 to 5 hours. I've been scheduling FP+ selections about an hour apart from each other. And go for a DAS return time prior to going to the FP+ attraction. Here is how Saturday went for us.


1:35 to 2:35 FP+ for Buzz

3PM Festival of Fantasy Parade

3:30 - 4:30 FP+ for Peter Pan

DS had a DAS return time for Pooh for 2:20 but we didn't get out of Buzz in time and snagged a parade spot instead. We went to Pooh after PP.

Our next FP+ was for Barnstormer. However when I checked the app, there was a message that there was a FP+ for 3:00pm to 1:00 am. So we stopped at the kiosk near the Barnstormer and asked about it. The cm said it was a glitch in our favor. We somehow were given a 4th FP+??!! So he asked ds what attraction he'd like to go on. DS said POTC. The CM changed our FP+ from Barnstormer to POTC and told us to use the "bonus" FP+ for the Barnstormer. He told us to enjoy the glitch and we did!!

After POTC we headed to First Aid for a bit before heading out of the park.

This is a perfect example of how it's important to understand your own party's needs since my two MK days looked absolutely nothing like lovethattink's and yet I'm sure we all enjoyed ourselves just as much.

In case you're interested, here's how our two MK days went. Note that we didn't actually end up using our DAS because we're extremely lucky in that the time of day that works best for DD16 is very early in the day so we can hit attractions when there aren't lines. If this was shifted several hours then I can see needing the DAS at a few of the attractions but as I said, I work with times that are as close to our at home schedule as much as possible. All of our non-FP attractions had absolutely no wait and in fact we let a few people pass us in the Pooh queue so that the kids could play on the honey walls.

Day 2 This was a VERY unusual day for us as we almost never have an evening in the park because DD16 can't typically handle it but I made sure the day before was a break day where she could rest up the entire day doing as much or as little as she wanted so even though she did have a bit of a rough time during dinner she ended up loving it.

These are excellent thanks. We are also limited to 3 or 4 hours in the park. I'm hoping since Ds is older now we will be able to do that in the am, and then go back in the evening after a long swim/ ipad break. Well try it the first couple of days and then readjust if needed.

Don't really know where to post this but my 11yr dd saw the hashtag run through where they repeated placed the 140 characters and now is obsessed....she wants the characters and wants to place them where they should be.... Watch the video...my problem is she has a ton of characters, but there is a few I have never seen...seven dwarves...HELP.

The 7 dwarfs are out seasonally. Usually at mnsshp, mvmcp and occasionally at Germany at Epcot during offseasons. There were a lot of rare characters in that picture if you are taking about the one I saw that looked like this, #? Your best bet to find characters is either disney's app our Kenny the Pirate's website our character locator app. It was super rare and a once in a lifetime thing where they posed together for that promo picture.
