We will be in a 2 BR unit at the BCV (2 queens in the 2nd Bedroom) and, since I will be working during some of my vacation, I'm looking for a great location (aren't we all, right? ) Does anyone have any suggestions on requests? I really would love a view of the quiet pool, and a big balcony, so I can sit out there with my laptop.

Thanks for you help!:earboy2:

Aorry you have to work on vacation...I can certainly relate.

As I am sure you know the 2nd bedroom with 2 Queens is rare (25 units) so there aren't many choices but here is a link with some room reports and it will give you some view comments. http://members.aol.com/InstImpres/beachclub.pdf Look in the notes column to see which have 2 queens (I have only been able to identify about half)
This will give you an idea of “sectional views”. It is extremely difficult to ask for a specific room (as well as trying on the CM’s). With the new room ready policy, guests have reported getting several choices at check-in and this may than help

Looks like 553 is the pick of the lot. I know enough not to ask for a specific room. I guess my priority is a view of the quiet pool and a good sized balcony. When we were there in April we had a 2 Bedroom with 2 Queens in the second bedroom. The Villa faced the service road, which I didn't mind at all, but it had 2 small balconies, which I really didn't care for. Oh well, just glad to be going!!!!!:Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Just thought I would mention that 553 does not face the quiet pool. It faces the road. It does have one long balcony that stretches the length of all 3 rooms. There is no sliding glass door that goes out of the 2nd bedroom either. The balcony goes past the window there, but you can not exit to the balcony from that room.

I may have had that room before, now that you mention it, Terry (thanks, by the way! ). Is it a corner room?

Am I right that none of the 2 bedroom villas with 2 queens have sliding glass doors in that second bedroom? I think they all have regular windows, but I may be wrong.

Yes, it is an inside corner room! The balcony of the studio that is to the right is very close! If you walking down the hall from the main elevators this room is the first one on the right hand side just past the hallway that goes to the right!

I am not sure if any of the 2 bedrooms with 2 queens have a sliding glass door from that 2nd bedroom. If I had to guess, I would say that you are correct. I think that is one of the reasons that they could not put the queen bed in that room on the rooms with sliding glass doors because there would not be enough room to get to the balcony door.
