Request Buildings at OKW

I will be making reservations at OKW in the next few weeks. I thought I had read about how to make request for certain buildings/rooms now. I am very perticular about what buildings to request at OKW because some buildings I do not like at all. I tried finding something about it on the DVC Member website but didn't find anything. So, I am coming to all the experts on the DIS boards.

I read somewhere that you don't request when making reservations anymore. This is the way I have always done it in the past. I read where you make the request at check-in and it's a first come first serve basis. Is this true?

Also, we are staying at BCV, Nov. 29 to Dec. 8. I didn't make any kind of request for a certain room. I would love to have a room facing Epcot. When would I make this request?

I always request buildings and just did earlier this week. And...I always get what I ask for. So, request, remember, it is a request, not a guarantee.

You should make your requests with your reservation or call member services to have it added to your current reservation. They no longer accept faxes or phone calls directly to the resort. The new "room ready" system is the don't actually assign your room until you check-in but recent visitors have posted that isn't always true, they had rooms pre-assigned.
