Reputable/safe free game downloads?

I am looking for a safe website my daughter can download some simple games to her netbook. There are plenty of sites on a Google search but I don't know how safe they are. Anyone have any experience? She is just looking for basics like solitaire, jewel quest, chuzzle, etc. Thanks.

I'd like to know too. My boys have had Toontown and Webkinz for a couple of years and now starting to search out their own! They picked up some sort of bug on their netbook, but it's all fixed now (along with some additional parental controls).

Most of the things I've found are $7-$10 past the "trial" period. I've even looked on Amazon and eBay to find software games.

I'd like to hear of some suggestions too.

Disneys piratesonline.go.com is free and can be played without having to buy a membership. Having a membership just unlocks additional items and locations for the user. There are also free online games at disney.go.com/games
