Repositionable Xyron question

My permanent adhesive roll for my Xyron just ran out, 3 pieces of paper short of finishing 1/2 of my swap stuff. I do have a roll of repositionable adhesive, but I've never used it before. Does it eventually become permanent after it's applied? Or should I go get a new roll of permanent adhesive before I finish my swap stuff?

I use repositionable xyron and I have had no issues with anything every falling off.. I've done many a swap w/ them before and haven't had anyone say anything to be about it... I prefer the repositionable in case I make a mistake I don't ruin any elements.. *but that is me, I'm blonde and mistakes happen often*...

Yes, it does start to stick permanently after a few minutes. I like it so much better than the permanent. I constantly fiddle with mine before I like the position of the letters.
