Reports from Vero Beach

It was very nice of you to post the photos of DVC Vero from the
Wabasso Public Beach just north of the resort. If the DVC walkway down to the beach did not get washed away the beach erosion and destruction seems to be not as bad as I would have expected. The yellow tubes that floridafam mentioned that were hanging from the 4th floor windows indicate to me that there has been significant water damge to the upper stories. These tubes are used by construction crews to toss out damaged matierials rather than carry them down. If there was water on the 4th floor we can be sure there was water damage to the resort all the way down to the first floor. Either they lost some windows or the roof suffered enough leaks to let water in above the top (4th floor).

There wasn't any place for me to stop and take pictures because they had Sheriff deputies blocking the way.

We're going to try and get to Capt. Hiram's for dinner soon. Everything (grocery stores, restaurants, etc.) were closing at 6pm because of curfew but I think that may have been lifted.
