REPORTING LIVE FROM...Home! :(

Glad to hear that you are enjoying yourself and also good to know that I am not the only one who fell asleep on Its a Small World before :rotfl2:
We are having a blast, thank you, and actually...i can't say it was the first time we ever fell asleep on IASW!

The suspense is killing me! I am really looking forward to reading all your dining reviews, especially Yachtsman. I REALLY want to do the Wild Africa Trek! Definitely want to read all about it! :thumbsup2
Let's say we would recommend yachtsman. If there's anyone reading this making a last minute decision wether to book it or not...do it!
And also do the wild africa trek. It's worth every penny!

Hope you had a great day at Animal Kingdom!! Is there a bounceback offer in your room? If so, what are the dates. Mahalo
Aloha! There was no bounceback offer in our room. I stopped by the front desk to inquire and it turns out there is a valid offer we just didn't have the card! It's 35% off select deluxe and dvcs for certain dates. Let me know if you can't read this:

I have no idea why it posted sideways!

The tour sounds like a lot of fun - might have to try it. I love the bats and tigers. Animal Kingdom has to be the hottest of the parks. I'm guessing you guys are exhausted so I hope you have a great night's sleep so you'll be all refreshed and ready to go in the morning.
Try the tour it's amazing! Yeah we pretty much fell into bed and couldn't help but have a great night's sleep!

Thanks for keeping us who are not at WDW posted. Sounds like you are having a great vaca. I also like EE. Have never been to Tusker House -
how was your meal ? What did Eeyore order ?
It's my pleasure to share our experiences. It was our first time at Tusker since they made it a TS meal. It is a character buffet with Donald outside and Daisy Mickey and Goofy inside. Food and characters were good. The food offerings were different from your average buffet.

Great job with this "LIVE" trip report :thumbsup2. My family and I usually go every year from around August 2-11. This year however, we are doing a renovation project to my house and we couldn't go :sad2:. I am totally living my WDW vacation through your reporting. Thank you so much for doing this.

Enjoy the rest of your stay!

Thank you for that warm compliment. I'm sorry you're not here but i hope your house turns out great. We should be fixing our house but instead we are living gluttonously! Thanks for reading!

I am looking forward to doing that tour once my DD is old enough to experience it. She's my partner in all things fun, but she's only 3.5 so we have some time to wait for that to be part of our trip.:goodvibes:

I am so glad you had such a great time doing it and that you were able to be seated so quickly for your meal to save you from wilting.

Your report is just making me so excited for our trip and really I almost feel like I'm there with you now...almost!:rotfl:
I'm so happy to help you get excited. It is really magical here and i think you will love it!

The wild Africa Trek sounds awesome!!

Thank you again so very much for taking the time out of your trip to provide live updates. Seriously, I am really enjoying this. :goodvibes
It's really a joy for me to write this report. When i try to write a report on paper i always fall way behind and give up, but somehow this makes me motivated to keep going and my family will also have the for the future.

Thank YOU so much for following along and sharing your views with me
It's really motivating!

My DD can not wait for that Mickey pretzel!!!
The mickey pretzel looks adorable doesn't it? It tastes like an average pretzel to be honest. The premium ice cream bars on the other hand are no ice cream bars. Those have pixie dust in them!

All caught up and jumping on for the rest of the ride. :) love the Hula Eeyor pics!

Welcome aboard and thanks for joining!

Holy moly!!! I just now noticed that you were doing a Live Report from WDW, so I had 14 pages of posts to read through. But I'm all caught up now, and I must say that it was a very enjoyable way to spend my lunch hour. :thumbsup2 Looking forward to your next update and of course also your Dining Report when you return home. ;)

Have a Great Day at Magic Kingdom! :cool1:

Oh, and speaking of MK, what did you think of your ride on BTMRR? It was still closed for refurb when we were there in May, so I was just wondering if you noticed anything different/better about the ride now?

Glad you found us! We didn't notice anything different about BTMRR? All of the features like the rickety track and the burned out village seem to be in good order. Splash needs some maintenance though but it's better than last summer when everything

Thanks for following along!

Thanks for posting the bounceback offer. Hopefully I can convince DH to book for December when we're there next month. I am really enjoying your posts so thanks for taking the time to let us know what's going on at our Poly and the parks. Have a Lapu Lapu for me.:goodvibes

You're welcome! I will have to show your post to DH. See dear, i MUST have another Lapu Lapu. It's not for me, it's for DebbyLof428!

Fyi last year we were in wdw in late august and the bounceback offer was for 2012 dates already so prepare yourself emotionally that the 2012 offer might be gone by the time you visit. I will keep my fingers crossed that it works out for.you!

I've been kind of lurking on your thread, getting myself psyched up for our 1st Poly stay in April! :yay:

It sounds like you are having a fabulous trip! It has only been 15 days since we left WDW but it already seems like an eternity....

your live trip report! It's soo neat to experience it in real time. Thanks!:thumbsup2

The bright side is that you have another trip planned. We will leave here on saturday with no next trip in sight. Im glad you came out of lurking to say hi!

I think you will really like the Poly. It is a beautiful resort that is constantly getting spruced up. A cast member confirmed with me that room renovations begin Nov. 1. We walked through the building with the small section of new hallway and i love it. If you have any questions i would be so happy to answer.

Sounds like you had a great day at the MK! I seem to be picking the worst parks every day lol. Yesterday the MK crowds were awful, and today was the most crowded I've ever seen DHS, and I've been here for Easter!

Tomorrow is our cabana day. I can't wait to relax poolside...with a drink or 2. ;) you're welcome to stop by!

After lunch at the plaza the mk was crowded and hot beyond belief! We decided to ride carousel of progress and tta and dh and i started falling asleep on tta. We realized it was totally time to get out of the park. We made our way down main street via the emporium bought a few things and stopped to get more sorcerers cards. We are intrigued by the game but dont know whether we will make time to play. We figure we need a two week trip to have enough time for that!

We got back to the poly at around 3 and went down to the pool. Again it was not super crowded. Games were going on but were not obnoxiously loud. This is very different from 2010. Im not sure which way it usually is and which is the exception but we are really able to enjoy the pool this year.

We came back and showered went to the torch lighting and now we are heading to dinner at narcoossee!

Our morning at mk worked because we know how to work it. I can't figure why people don't use fastpass. Why someone would stand in a 70 minute line when the fp return time is only 90 minutes away confuses me every time. But hey the more that do that the better for us!

We have epcot tomorrow and dinner at ohana. Hopefully some pool in between. If we are there we will say hi! I hope you have a great relaxing day!

I totally agree about FP. The lines for everything were just insane today. The line at Pizza Planet was at least twenty minutes! The Great Movie Ride line was so far out of the theaters couldn't believe it and just two days ago we walked on. We got really lucky with most things. It seemed we would get there just in time and right behind us a line would form. We may head to MK tonight depending on how everyone feels. I can't believe we didn't leave DHS until AFTER 4 today. :sad2:

Isn't the fire dancer wonderful? I can't wait to hear your review of Narcoosees. It will be our first time eating there next month. Enjoy the rest of your evening. My big thrill of the night will be watching the Yankees :rotfl::rotfl:

Thanks!! I did see some of those hallways, I really like it. Pretty and kind of elegant I think. :goodvibes

Just left another awesome meal at narcoossees- on the way out I glanced the tables for eeyore---- no luck :(. Enjoy your dinner :)

Sorry this was a double post so i will use the space to share some photos i took around the resort today.
